Join us for this unique opportunity. On May 11th we will be joined by Master Distiller Dave Pickerell from Whistle Pig Whiskey and formerly of Maker's Mark. Along with fantastic storytelling from Dave and education about whiskey, we'll be tasting Whistle Pig 10yr, 9 Mile Station Whistle Pig 12yr, 15yr and The Boss Hog.
In addition to this tasting, we will be having a delicious meal with the highlight being a whole roasted pig with classic sides. The meal will be complemented by three sauces made from Whistle Pig whiskeys.
Don't miss this fantastic evening!
The event will kick off with family-friendly fun from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. During this time, the rooftop amusement park will come alive with activities such as face painting, balloon artists, bubble machines and photo opportunities with life-size garden fairies. Children and adults will also enjoy unlimited access to Skyline Park’s acclaimed Heege Tower and three-story slide, in addition to Midway games that range from $1 to $3. Beyond seasonal entertainment and games, Skyline Park will offer specialty snow cones, as well as its prized selection of imaginative carnival fare, including short rib sandwiches, gourmet popcorn, salted soft pretzels, and famous “walking taco,” a snack-size bag of Fritos, opened up and filled with braised beef, pico de gallo, and avocado. Daytime admission will be $10 for adults and children. Children under three are free.
From 4 to 11 p.m., Skyline Park will transform into an adults-only fun zone. Catch spring fever with live performers, spring themed decor, while enjoying live music and photo booth opportunities. Throughout the evening, Skyline Park’s Sideshow bar will serve up spiked snow cones, a selection of local beers on tap and signature cocktails, such as the park’s infamous Bourbon slushie, “Pemberton’s Frozen Julep,” and “Ponce Park Cup” made with Tito’s vodka, Lillet Blanc, Amaro Cia Cara, honey and lemon. DJ Grace will spin tunes live from 7 to 11 p.m. Evening admission will be $20 and open to guests 21 years old and up.
